DETAILS: A total of 5 concerts and preferred seating at 2 free concerts by CMCA member groups, all in the SHOSTAKOVICH 100: AUSTIN CELEBRATES festival, for $100 (a total savings of $15 compared to the regular ticket price)

  • February 11, 8:00 pm: Chamber Soloists of Austin presents a Chamber Orchestra concert at First Presbyterian Church, featuring Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 1. www.chambersoloists.com

  • April 23, 3:00 pm: A. Mozart Fest presents Classic Virtuoso at First Baptist Church, featuring William Doppmann playing Shostakovich's Prelude and Fugue No. 15. www.amozartfest.org

  • March 7, 6:00 pm: Salon Concerts presents a 1-hour excerpt from German Blumen and a Russian Kolokochik at Armstrong Community Music School. Includes Shostakovich's Piano Trio for piano, violin, and cello. www.salonconcerts.org
