Both youth ensembles, Kantorei and Conspirare Children's Choir, will appear in the spring series entitled "Voices of Joy" dedicated to music from "across the pond" by composers and poets from England, Scotland, and Ireland. Poetry of Yeats, Rossetti, and Blake set to music by Finzi, Purcell, McAuliffe, and Page bring a fresh and glorious completion to the Youth Choirs' exploration of music from the British Isles.

Featuring:
CONSPIRARE KANTOREI
Conspirare Kantorei is a treble ensemble for singers, ages 9-14, with beginning to advanced vocal skill and experience. CONSPIRARE KANTOREI is considered the entry ensemble for all new singers to the CYC.
Focusing on the whole development of the vocalist, this ensemble provides singers with a strong background in choral ensemble experiences, small group vocal coachings, and special emphasis on music theory, history, sight-singing, and the use of the International Phonetic Alphabet (I.P.A.)

CONSPIRARE CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Conspirare Children's Choir is a treble ensemble for singers with intermediate to advanced vocal skill and experience.
This ensemble focuses on the development of choral music at a very high level of performance. Singers, ages 12-17, are expected to have strong fundamentals in vocal technique, sight-singing, music theory and history. Familiarity with I.P.A is helpful.
